One of our clients is in need of a fresh graduate or slightly experienced candidate in the area of foods science and technology.
Requirements.
Have a degree in food technology from a recognized institution.
Have some knowledge in the Quality operations in an FMCG even if its through internship.
A professional Diploma will be an added advantage
Duties and Responsibilities
•Working out daily, weekly and monthly production requirements for both packaging and raw materials
•Liaise with stores to work out reorder levels of raw materials level for all finished products and ensuring that the reorder levels are maintained
•Develop work instructions for all the products manufactured by the company and ensuring that the developed instructions are communicated to the relevant staff and followed.
•Inspecting of all materials used directly or indirectly in the manufacture of company products by carrying out physiochemical and microbiological analysis.
•Developing company specifications for both raw materials and finished products and ensuring implementation of the same.
•Preparing annual supplier audit schedule and carry out supplier audit to ensure that they meet the agreed specified quality needs
•Developing, implementing and maintaining cleaning programme and procedures for all food contact services.
•Documenting and reporting quality control evaluation results to the top management and advising on course of action.
•Ensure that the government regulations on occupation Health and safety and environmental issues are met.
•Carrying out and moniroring line quality test and advising the relevant personnel on correction measures on areas where the processes are found to be non- conforming.
